Reconstruction of the building of the Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearers in Baku City, 2001. For his work, the architect Elchin Aliyev was awarded the Order of St. Sergiy Radonezhsky by the Russian Orthodox Church in 2002. Also, E.T. Aliyev became the winner of the First Baku International Architectural Competition for the completed reconstruction project in 2004.
